100% natural Moso Bamboo
Moso bamboo grows rapidly and produces the densest giant stems. It self-regenerates without harming the mother plant and needs no chemicals to thrive organically. Moso products are incredibly durable, while elegantly appealing and do not require much refinishing.
This impressive and renewable plant also provides enormous environmental benefits as it absorbs carbon and produces oxygen 30% more efficiently than an equivalent mass of trees.

DURABLE
low maintenance
Its natural antimicrobial properties barricade against bacteria and odor. It's also very easy to clean.
storage
Make sure the board is completely dry before putting away. Always store it in a cool and dry place. No direct sunlight.
conditioning
To preserve its natural beauty, our board is only pretreated with a thin protective coating. It will wear off slowly based on usage.

Condition with food-grade mineral oil if the board appears to be dry and worn over time. Do not use cooking oil.
quick rinse
Bamboo is easy to care for. Like a cutting board, all it needs is just a quick rinse under running water after each use. Use gentle dish soap if needed.

Depending on what you serve, certain foods may leave potent stains and odors. To refresh the board, the method is as green as the board itself.
1. After wash and while the board is still wet, sprinkle coarse salt on the surface.
2. Scrub with a halved lemon. Press the citrus side against the board into the salt, and scrub in circular motion until the salt disappears.
3. Sprinkle another layer of salt on top, and leave the board to air dry for at least 2 hours. While the lemon juice kills bacteria and removes odors from the bamboo, the salt soaks up the excess moisture.
4. Rinse and towel dry to remove any residual, and let it air dry.
